The project exploits the unique condition of the site where nature is strongly present in two antithetic scales; vast forest and lake along three sides versus small pockets of remaining forest inside the territory. The program, in the form of villas, housing and public objects, is positioned in an extremely opportunistic way; the small scale houses exploit the fragments of forest by surrounding them in long and narrow plots so that every house has a close up view. With their inherent individuality and richness of forms they provide identity and pay homage to each of these valuable nature remains. The big objects are freely placed along a public promenade that runs next to the forest edge and extends onto the lake; they enrich the ways of experiencing forest and water while the variety of voids in their forms provide an endless variety of view frames.
